Hi everyone,
I'm back again after some time away. Really need to apply myself this time!
I'm a married stay at home Mum of one boy from the UK.
I'm focussing on eating more healthily and becoming more active, but I'm also hoping to loose weight.
My goals are to
. . . walk more
. . . cook almost every meal from scratch
. . . eat more vegetables
. . . drink more fluids
. . . eat less sugar
. . . have healthy snacks
. . . plan meals to avoid temptation
. . . eat together as a family as often as possible
. . . eventually learn to do a simple weight routine at home using dumbells
I'm 4 foot 11 and currently 81 kilogrammes or about 179 pounds. According to the powers that be my ideal weight is around 59 kilogrammes or about 130 pounds (just over 9 stone). However I have a curvy build and don't recall ever weighing anything near that, so I'm hoping to get myself down from an obese BMI to just an overweight one!
I'd love to make some friends here.
Can anyone tell me how they deal with blisters? I did a lot of walking a few days ago and I ended up with a horrible blister on the sole of my foot near my toes. It's so painful it's actually difficult to walk and I've ended up missing out on proper exercise these past few days. I would love some pointers on how to avoid this!
