Hello - my name is Stella,
I am a T2 diabetic. My journey has been long and hard...
I have managed to lose 127lbs so far. No longer require insulin. My last doctors visit my medication Glimpiride has been reduced to 1mg.
My eating plan is low carb. I use MFP as a strong tool. I'm allowed 45 grams of carbs per meal.
For the most part I've learn to get my BSL's on target. My A1c has been ranging 5.4.
My problem is I suffer from the Dawn Phenomenen. I test before bed and my number is low. No eating until the next day. Waking up with high numbers.
Who else suffers from this, and what do you do about it? My doc is aware. It frustrates me! Comments or suggestions, please.
