Dang it! When did that happen?? I really liked that list because you could see the protein-to-calorie ratio per serving.

To answer this question for myself, I made a spreadsheet of the types of protein I like to eat. I put in calories, grams of protein, and cost. Then I calculated a few things.
Calories per gram of protein
Lowest items from my list: canned tuna in water, protein powder, applegate lunchmeat, precooked chicken breasts, cottage cheese
Protein per $1
Highest items from my list: protein powder, peanut butter, tofu, ti’s chicken sausage
Might be useful to make a spreadsheet like this for the foods you eat. How to use it also depends on your goals. For example peanut butter has a lot of calories per gram of protein, but it is also one of the cheapest sources of protein.0 -
Meat, cheese, eggs, Greek yogurt, more meat, milk, beans.0

Dead animals.
Pork is more nutritious than beef, which is more nutritious than chicken.
Of course, organ meat is king for nutrition, but, ew.
