Just a question about scanning products bar codes and seeing the nutrition in it but then googling the same product which has a different value.

eg. 100g raspberries. 70 cals, 5.5g fiber and 1.3g protein on MFP

Google - 100g raspberries 53 cals, 6g fiber and 1.2g protein.

I use this to double-check sometime.

Sometimes you have to check out a few different sources and make your best estimation. I would recommend that you don't spend too much time stressing about the exact number. Just estimate an honest ballpark number and you'll do fine.

It's possible that a user edited a barcode-associated product and made it inaccurate.

It's also possible that the barcode pulled up the wrong item. I once scanned a single serve cream cheese sachet and it logged as a mac and cheese microwave dinner.

There's also the possibility that the barcode product is a different variety of produce. Different varieties of product do have different nutritional content.

Personally, I go by USDA numbers for all produce.
