So last time I did the gym thing I weighed myself all the time. As I have switched over from planet fitness no day care back to the ymca which does have child care I will be once again at the gym multiple times a week like I was 1 years ago, and I will not be weighing myself. At all, unless my doctor puts me on a scale I will refuse to weigh myself. Good idea? Or Bad? I just had a hate hate relationship with getting thinner yet not losing any weight. I dropped from a 42 waist to a 38 and only dropped 1 or 2 pounds. I know why but it's distracting I feel to the process. I will be measuring success by what jeans hanging in my closet fit. Whether the belts are too tight or too loose to wear.

Measurements are a great way to gauge how you're going. In reality, your weight doesn't matter - it's your body composition that is more relevant.
