hey y'all,
i was upset last week bc I overindulged and gained back 2 pounds i had previously lost. I excercised and ate veggies all weekend and weighed this morning and lost 4 pounds from the weight of Friday.
Is there something wrong with my scale or is that possible?
also, the scale weighed me in at 3 different weights back to back. 119.5; 119; 118.5 I went with the 119.5 because the seems to be the most possible. Has this happened to anyone else? I dont want to step on the scale in two days and be up 4 pounds... you know?

It's just water weight, we all fluctuate, sometimes up to several pounds a day. Perfectly possible. 3 days ago I was 3lbs heavier than I am now, completely normal.
My old scales did the same, I could be a pound different when I stood on them consecutively. My new scales don't. I think cheaper scales tend to be like that.0 -
Yes, it's possible.
It's not the result of only what you did over the weekend, but it's possible.0 -
Overindulging doesn't immediately add 2 lbs of fat, you probably were retaining water, and over the weekend lost that water.
As for the different scale numbers, I step on over and over until I get 3 of the same reading. Make sure your posture is correct and you're stepping on the same spot. If I shift my weight to my heels, I can "make" the scale read a different weight. I have to stand evenly on my feet to get an accurate reading.0 -
You seem to get too stressed over very common daily fluctuations. You should consider weighing no more often than weekly.0

so maybe what i gained was water weight and what i lost was water weight. It was just a drastic loss (to me) over the weekend!0

These are normal daily fluctuations and are to be expected.0
