Okay, so I finally hit under 300 which makes me superbly happy because it means progress. My confusion is that I was eating at 1750 calories and when I reassessed my calorie count again, MFP gave me 1900 as my caloric goal. Any help on understanding why its like this?

Well, I don't know why this would happen, but eating closer to 2000 is probably a good idea any ways!

If you are close to 300, you'll still be losing! As long as you are measuring everything carefully with a food scale :)

If you're close to 300, you will still lose weight at 2000. Test it for two weeks and then re-evaluate.
