Anybody have tips on how to shed some of your water weight? I feel bloated a lot, and I know drinking alot of water helps but wanted to know if anyone had any other tricks. :)

Drink some water and focus on shedding fat instead of water weight imo.

Watch sodium and keep drinking a lot of water. It's all you can do.

Carbs are a biggy and watch the sugar substitutes. Some sugar substitutes will bloat you as well.

In between some of my water drinking, I have a caffeinated beverage (like half of a diet coke, cup of coffee or tea).. It is a diuretic and helps flush some of this..

If you are caffiene free, do not do this...

BTW, staying under 2000 sodium is perfect..

Everything above.... drinking more water flushes out the sodium if you've had too much. Also, if you're exercising, that helps too.
If you're on a no caffeine diet then there's foods that are diuretics that can help too....asparagus, green beans, pineapple, beets. Staying under 2000 as gia07 says too is awesome.

I get edema sometimes, especially around "that" time of month, and I make sure I watch my sodium, drink extra water, and try to eat more of the foods I listed. But I also love to run or jog a little extra when I know I'm carrying extra water, it really helps.

    Good luck!

I try to keep my sodium intake low and focus on water as everyone else has listed, but I also think that sauna/steam room time helps me to feel less bloated. Sounds weird, but I think it helps me shed any extra sodium that I am carrying around. When I do go in the sauna or steam room I follow to 10 minute rule and drink water when I'm in there.

Do anything that makes you sweat, exercise as mentioned above, sitting in the sauna helps. Some sosiom comes out with sweat. Plus drinking the water as mentioned above. No need to get dehydrated.

Are you on a hormonal birth control? They can make you retain a ton of water. Just got off mine and wow could definitely see/feel the water weight coming off
