Hi everyone!
I'm new to mfp though I've known about it for some time. I was using a different calorie counter but I wasn't getting enough of a community feel with it. Besides, every time I went looking for food info it would land me on this site...lol!
Anyways, I'm from Montreal and I live with my two amazing kitties. I'm 36 and I stand at a whopping 5'2 3/4" (yes that 3/4 is important... ;D). When I started my weight loss journey I was at 205lbs with a 38" waist. I'm now at 183lbs and I've lost 23.5" over my body. My waist is down to 32.75"...:)
I have very few body issues. I think I am beautiful as I think everyone is beautiful. Beauty unfortunately doesn't mean healthy. As someone recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, it became a matter of 'have to'. It was either lose weight or be unable to move.
I'm still in pain all the time, but I can move and play and have fun now...:)
My goal is to either get down to 145lbs or get my waist to 29". I'm still learning how to calculate BF% and BMI so hopefully I'll be able to update with those soon.
Here's to all of the beautiful people here on your journeys...:)
