What to eat right before a workout?

I have to eat a little something right before I work out because I work out maybe 30 minutes or so after I wake up (I have a gym at my apartment complex lol) and I don't have much time at any other part of the day. I usually eat a little bit of fruit and a small handful of whole wheat cereal or some crackers... how is that? I just want to make sure I'm eating the things that will make my workouts most effective!

What do you guys eat right before a workout?

    I like a greek yogurt before because it's high protein and the simple carbs can help fuel the workout. Drinking a protein shake could suffice as well.

    Second greek yogurt. Stuff is a godsend. But usually I train on an empty stomach. Then eat something afterwards instead of before.
