Macros??

Ive been hearing a lot of talk out these macros.
Will someone please explain to me what they are?

I may already know and this may just be another word for them but someone please enlighten me?

    Cliff notes, macros= macro-nutrients = protein fat carbs, and a minimum amount of each of these a particular person should aim for each day dictated by their age weight gender activity level and TDEE.

    On that site there's also the IIFYM calculator which is great for giving you macros to follow
