Fitness/ Pedometer watches

Hi, I've been looking at the pedometer watches online. I haven't got oodles of pennies but would like a pedometer watch type thing. I've seen some on ebay and Amazon about 10-15£ mark.. has anyone had any experience with these.. at the moment I use a phone app but I've a habit of putting it down and going off without it

    the pedometer style is better for everyday tracking. The GPS watches are better for running tracking and pacing.
