I'm confused

I'm supposed to eat 1200 calories a day to lose 2 pounds per week. I also work out everyday and burn about 300 calories. I don't want my metabolism to slow down because my body will have 900 calories after the work out. So should I eat the calories back?

You should eat back a portion of the calories you earn through exercise (MFP overestimates calorie burns, go with 50-70% of what it tells you) or adjust your calorie goal to be less aggressive. Your profile says you want to lose 30 pounds; with that amount to lose you should be looking at losing 1lb per week, not two. Also, if you work out every day, really consider setting your goals to "lose 1lb per week" AND "lightly active" instead of sedentary, then just eat the calories MFP gives you and don't log or eat back exercise.0
