Detailed Review on Fatburner

Hello all!
Well, let me first start off with saying, I am in no way promoting the use of a fatburner, nor am I promoting any particular brand of supplement. The name of the supplement will remain anonymous unless requested through a direct message.
I am usually 'against' fat burners, I've never recommended them before to anyone, and I've usually told people to rather stick to counting calories and give it time for their weight loss journeys. This is not a post to receive hate posts, spam, or anything irrelevant than that of the topic (Fat burner being used, what I experience, and what I recommend).
The reason I've chosen to start taking a fat-burner, is purely for two reasons:
- I had the money left over, as I made some good savings in my budget, being end of the month I had some extra money to spare.
- I am curious.
This is THE FIRST time I am actually taking a fat-burner supplement, so I will not be able to offer any comparisons. I still believe that when it comes to both gaining and losing weight, you MUST have an idea on what diet you require for your body. Below, I have placed my stats that may be found useful to others:
Current age: 22 years
Current Body Weight: 75KG / 165.347 LBS
Height: 179cm / 5Foot 87
Current Activity level: 5 workouts a week (Monday - Friday, Saturday + Sunday off)
Current estimated body-fat percentage: 15%
Calories & Macros:
2063kCal
- 229g Carbs
- 156g Protein
- 57g Fats
If there is any information that you guys need further, please request it or if there are any questions or concerns, please go ahead (if kept on topic!)
I look forward to giving this review!
Updates will be posted daily!

Day 1:
It's currently 12 PM, the instructions for the fatburner are to take on an empty stomach with water, before breakfast..
I only bought the product after breakfast, but took it on an empty stomach, with lots of water. (2 Glasses)
It's been approximately 1 - 1 and a half hours, and I've gotten some stomach pain (cramps) which made me need the lavatory - all healthy + normal leavings, so no concern about that. Can't be 100% sure it's the fatburner which caused this.
I'll now consume my first major meal of the day, lunch - I didn't have time to eat a great breakfast this morning due to waking up too late, having some revision classes for an exam re-write next week.
More to be posted / added on today, if there is anything to be noted.
P.S. Do you as a reader request my diary to be open? Will This help at all with following the review? If so, let me know so I can try work out how to do the needful.0 -
How do you intend on working out whether the fat burner had any effect on your fat loss compared to just being in a deficit?0

Well, considering I've previously been on cuts in my bodybuilding/weight training career, I'll be able to know whether or not the product has an effect..
I've been training for 4 and a half years now, been on a total of 3 proper cuts using only calorie restricted diets..
I'll be able to comment on the differences I've personally noticed compared to normal weight loss regime

Just to add to some information about my current cutting status:
I have been on a caloric deficit alone for about a month and a half, and have thus far lost 1.8kg / 3.96lbs0 -
Every cut is different.... Nothing ever happens the same way so it's not really comparable.0

I do disagree.. All 3 cuts which I've done have been the same. The only difference would probably have been my age and body-fat %.. Although, 2/3 times, bodyfat %'s were very near.

Please stop trying to pretend that you're being scientific. This is just a heavily biased anecdote that means nothing. If whatever fatburner you're using really worked that we'd need a double blinded RCT to prove it. Your personal anecdote is heavily influenced by a bazillion confounding variables, not to mention the placebo effect.0 -
I lost more weight when I wore my shoes on the wrong feet for two weeks, compared to two weeks with the correct footwear setting.

I'm not in any way trying to be 'scientific' - Had a bad day? Go else-where, as stated in the first post.0 -
One of the major concerns with anything marketed as a fat burner is the strain it can put on your heart. Generally these pills, unless they are targeted at suppressing appetite, will have an ingredient designed to push your resting heart rate up so that your body burns more calories doing its daily thing. This can be dangerous because a higher heart rate increases myocardial and systemic oxygen demand. Adding exercise adds stress on the heart. At 22, you probably don't have any cardiac history, but there have been documented cases of long-term cardiac damage from the use of "fat burners." Just a word of caution from a paramedic who has taken numerous youngins to the hospital with chest pain and other complaints secondary to the use of "diet pills."0

The only way this post could generate more hate is if you were following a low carb diet.0

Or if it maybe, you know...should be a blog?0

Day 2:
After day 1's workout, I felt pretty normal. It was a back day, and deadlifts were done first, which made me a little short of breath - not sure if this is from the supplement though. So no further comment on that.
I've woken up this morning, with some need for the toilet (not my usual schedule first thing as I wake up) it MAY be the fatburner, but I have a feeling it's the take-out chicken stew which I got from a new restaurant which opened up nearby.
I certainly look some-what different today, I look slightly 'dry' but I wouldn't say anything too drastic, considering it's only been a day.0 -
So more possible variables that could be affecting results?-1

People have trouble reading, obviously.
Anyway, I'll just ignore and carry on, since it bothers them so much
Day 2, I'm drinking more water, however I'm feeling that I am still looking relatively 'dry' than normal. Slight vascularity showing through forearms, too.
Will report back this evening, after first leg day of the supplement.
