Can I ask why you are a member of MFP?

This is a bit off topic but since OP has had her question answered . . .

Is it common to know what your friends weigh? I know what sizes my friends are but I have no idea what they weigh. Am I doing friendship wrong?

I don't even know my husband's weight. Or size, for that matter.

I know how much my sister weighs and my bestie. my sister is slimming for her wedding after having a baby, so we talk about weight, and my bestie is my only RL fitness pal so we talk about that sort of thing.

Because your friends probably look like chewed bubble gum, and you look like your carved out of wood?

You should judge yourself on how you feel you look rather than a stupid number relative to other stupid numbers.

I know my husband's weight. We like to shame each other into weight loss so we put our weigh-ins up on a white board in the kitchen for maximum 'Feelsbadman' potential.

Are you sure your friends weigh less? Did you all take turns to stand on the scale? I can't imagine them being truthful...sorry

Being heavier is great - it means your body needs more calories just to maintain weight. Ergo more cake.

I have an old school, low tech, balance type scale...like in the doctor's office. After I weigh myself I make sure to move the slider way, way down before he can see it.
