First Weigh In

Last night I was nervous about my weigh in today. Even though I been tracking my intake and knew I was making better choices than when I haven't tracked it, which was uh... never, and exercise as well, I was still pretty nervous. My head started getting the best of me with all the negative "what if it wasn't enough" and all that. So this morning I sent the hubs off to work, put the kiddo's on the bus and went to the moment of truth. Down almost 10lbs!

I was motivated and determined this last week and it clearly shows. I know not every week is going to be this great but I think it's a great start for the next chapter in my life! I still have a long ways to go but I WILL get there! Thank you to everyone this last week for answers to my questions and all the support. I don't think I could have done this good on my own like I first thought I was going to. Here's to the next 10lbs...

    Hi:

Congratulations for your first achievement. I wish you many more in the future.
I suggest you measure your body (waist, hips, wrist) and keep track of the changes (month to month or week to week).
There will be days where your body weight stays flat for many days and your body has changed. Unless you measure and track, you would not notice, you will get frustrated and discouraged based on just body weight measurements.
