The dreaded armpit fat...

Any tips on how the heck to get rid of it?! I know lowering total body fat should help, I've lost 20lbs so far. I've been working on my arms, and now I swear the armpit fat is even worse, or maybe it just looks that way since my arms aren't flapping as much...lol. Workout tips that target that area? Or am I stuck with weird lumps? XD

Spot reduction is impossible. If you lose more weight it will eventually come from there. Where your body stores fat is genetic. There are no exercises you can do or foods to eat/not eat to target where your fat is lost.

You can't spot lose but you can spot tone, right? Otherwise that means all these squats I've been doing hasn't been doing anything. I guess my saddlebags are just disappearing due to magic. :) I mean I had weird lumps of fat on my thighs and butt and that has been going away with the squats. Thanks for the link!

But that is going away with fat loss, not with squats.

Spot tone? No such thing. If your legs are looking better it's because you're losing body fat from them. Squats help to "harden" up the muscle underneath and build up the strength in your legs.
