Hello! My name is Jerry! I hit my high weight a few years ago of 270 pounds! Currently, I am down 35 pounds from there, but would like to get rid of another 50+ pounds, perhaps 100 altogether. And in the process, I want to get leaner and more trim, so that I can keep hiking and staying active into my 70's (I'm 62 right now)

I just finished a 5-mile hike through the Inks Lake State Park, here in Texas, and I'm working up to a 7 mile round trip to the top of Harney Peak, SD. It's a place I've never been, but it was one of my mom's favorite places to hike., so I'd like to visit there this next month when we go to the Black Hills to remember my Mom, who died a year ago, Memorial Day.

My WHY, or reason I want to do this is not only for my health, but also so I might help others in their journey towards better health. I love coaching others and seeing the results they get from being a part of my team.
