Pre-Logging Exercise

Does anyone else pre-log their exercise?
I always do it - because people start liking it, so if I don't go and complete it I feel bad and feel like I've failed my MFP friends - it sounds silly, but it works for me!

I pre log food only..
What ever makes you stay mindful to keep up with your regime, I say keep it up..
Its not a tip for me, because I religiously exercise 5 days a week0 -
I’ve pre-logged exercise and I’ve pre-logged food. I do this at times to figure out where I’ll balance out, especially when I’m trying to push my carbs down during a cut. This happens when I’m traveling more than when I’m at home. When I’m traveling, I don’t always have control of what food will be available and I want to be able to fuel a workout the right way (not just eat calories so I can get the work done).0

Not for me because I like to have the incetive of only eating exercise calories if ive actually burned them. Its like awarding yourself the right to log them before you have done the hard work. If I want to pre organise exercise then i have a planner for that where I record my times and weights. Whatever works for you.0

This is a fundamental thought difference. You see some food as a reward for working out, I see food as fuel to work out. I know on the surface, that doesn’t seem like a big thing, but it really is.

I don't really eat my exercise calories (unless I've done a mammouth workout of 1000 cal +, which is rare), so I don't pre-eat the calories before the workout.
I guess the motivation from my friends help with the likes, as I actually do them.
I pre-log my food too, MFP has kind of become my meal planner0 -

Not really a correct interpretation of my view. The workout and the exercise are the benefit. The reward is actually not the food, but my right to log the exercise, food is just additional. I prefer to take credit for something when ive done it and not before, which is why i prefer NEAT over TDEE.
Food as fuel is a priority for me and is eaten prior to and during my workout. In that case its not a reward at all but a vital component of being able to have an efficient workout.0 -
I pre-log food just to keep me on track. I won't log the exercise until I've actually done it. It just feels like a reward afterwards, something to look forward to "sweet I've finished, time to tell the (MFP) world!!"0
