I'm blessed to have 2 beautiful girls. One who is 6 weeks, but my god one look in the mirror brings me to tears!! I have 2stone 10lb. I'm expressing/breast feeding and thought I'd lose weight through it. But my weight hasn't budged. Just makes me want to eat eat eat and give up! Need a good slap I know and get my act together!

Dont give up, it only been six weeks since your new little girl has arrived. Your body has been throught it. Give it a chance, and you a chance too. Remember slow a steady wins the race, I am happy to help where I can.

6 weeks?! I wouldn't give up. Your body is still healing. Your uterus has JUST NOW reached the point where it isn't feeling like an open wound.

Give it more time. Keep logging, stay active and focus on what your body has DONE rather than what it weighs.
You have created a new life and that is an AMAZING thing. What also might help is adding more methods of measuring your progress like taking measurements of your waist, hips, and the like. Take before pictures and then some progress pictures.

You're body has been through a lot and you are capable of doing this. Don't get discouraged!

Not only has your body been through a lot, you also have the added joys of sleep depravation and caring for your family. It sounds like you might be going through a little bit of post partum depression as well. Give yourself some time to get back into the swing of things, give yourself the same advice you would give a friend in your situation. Be kind to yourself, you have earned it!
