For the last few days I have increased my water intake significantly, I now drink around 6-7 16 oz things of water everyday. I've also started walking everyday and trying to reach my 10,000 steps everyday, for the past three days I have hit around 13,000 and I have also stayed under my calorie goal.. My problem is I have not only gained weight but I have not lost anything. I'm trying to figure out why I'm heavier and why with all this water and walking I'm not losing anything. I'm not giving up, but if anyone has any helpful tips or encouragement I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Your body can only hold so much water in the cells and I doubt the quantity of water is causing you to not lose weight.

You should either lower your calorie goal or maybe you are eating more than you realize.

Have you adjusted your calorie goal as you have lost weight? MFP suggests that you recalculate after every ten pounds lost.

If you open your diary people may be able to give some tips on your food selections and logging.
