Hey everyone,
My name is Anja - I am 27 years old and I finally said enough was enough and committed to my health on April 6th. I had been battling the same 10-20lbs for years, and after a lot of up and downs with my weight, I am tired of taking a before picture every few months but never having any AFTER's!
After an emotionally abusive relationship that lasted from December 2012 to October 2013, I was destroyed emotionally. I lost my self completely and felt no worth what so ever, so of course I stopped taking care of myself and caring about how I looked. This man destroyed my love for myself and it almost cost me my life. Happily, I was surrounded by some amazing people who helped me through my dark time and helped me get back on my feet again. I slowly started wanting to care for myself so I started with eating healthy and trying to exercise regularly.
I decided on April 1st that I was going to go all in and commit 100% so I invested in myself and started a 30 day nutritional cleanse that my friend had some incredible results with. I committed to a 16 week challenge so that I give myself enough time to truly make a transformation in my body. I am looking for friends and partners - people who will help me and that I can help through our journeys - so please friend me and add me so we can support and cheer for one another!
After being in such a dark place for so long, I am so happy to have found my strength and happy place again - I like my face when I look in the mirror now, and I see myself as beautiful, despite my weight! Please reach out if you are in this dark place - I've been there, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I promise!
Much love - have a beautiful day!
