Back for good this time

Hey everyone,
I'm back from a few months off of counting (mostly due to work travel). Been tracking as much as possible, usually I fall off on the weekends (tracking mostly, but dieting a bit too if I'm being honest). The scale has not been moving much but the mirror and clothing fit is telling me things are working, albeit slowly. I'm pretty much following IIFYM with high protein. Probably won't post any progress pictures until I'm down 10 or so lbs since I'm pretty embarrassed of my current state. Starting weight was probably around 250ish but don't really have a good starting point since I didn't get a scale until around a month in.
Been lifting weights twice a week and running training for a 10k coming up in May. I know I should lift more and I want to but the schedule right now is priority on getting ready for the 10k. I plan to change that up after the race.
I have stopped tracking exercise since I found it really was making me think I had a lot more calories to eat than I actually did so I moved over to this method http://youtu.be/7cc18wLJW3k from user Vismal here on MFP and it's working pretty well so far I think.
Anyway, looking to get some more friends around here who are active since that shows up on my feed and is motivating. Feel free to add me!
