Need help deciding which gym to join: la fitness or world gym

Does anyone have experience with either of these gyms? I'm having a hell of a time choosing. La doesn't have a year contract which appeals to me since I work out outside most of the time in the warmer months, but la overall has better equipment than the worlds gym by me and also has a pool. Both come out to cost the same where I live because world gym forces you to commit to 12 months, which for a student seems
Impractical in case I move or switch up my workouts to only outside. However I should mention the world gym is right across the street from my house, I could literally walk there. La isn't too far though, a ten minute drive.

I think that is a decision you will need to make yourself. How important is the freedom of no contract to you; do you desire a pool?; is walking to your workout appeal to you more than driving to "nicer" equipment?

Thanks I think I already know which one im going to join. Walking isn't more appealing. The only thing going for world gym is that it's so freaking close lol.
