Back on MFP and afraid to weigh until I "feel" I have lost weight. Idiot! Right?

It helps to know if you've been doing the right thing all week and the scale is one of the things that will help you to know
I do know what you mean though. Sometimes I say to myself, maybe I should wait another day to weigh just in case but then I say screw it I have to know if I've lost anything this week0 -
Sometimes it's good to keep your weight a secret even from yourself. Instead just take your measurements. You may be surprised to find out what your actual weight is when you reach your goals through measurements.0

I agree with @gonnasnap . Take measurements, its way more satisfying than that stupid # on the scale.0
