Teaching Myself Healthy

Hi everyone,
I decided to join MFP because I am looking to lose weight in a healthy way and keeping track of my foods has worked in the past. This time, I am challenging myself to stick with it. I am a teacher, so I do struggle with finding time to cook or work out. I was using the Weight Watchers app but was continuously frustrated with how it keeps track of points. My starting goal is to lose 50 pounds.

I wish you luck! Once you get into a routine it does get easier. What works for me is meal prepping for the week and getting up at 5:00 am to work out. It was hard at first but now, after 2 months, I'm finally starting to find my groove.0

Hi! I just started using MFP too. Although WW helped me learn some healthy eating habits, I'm not a fan of the point system either. I have 40+ pounds to lose too.0

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll give meal prepping a try.0
