Got my new driver's license today, and I've held on to my last two just to keep track of the changes. I can barely look at that first one; my wife & I had a good laugh just now when I broke it out!
2007 (237 lbs):

2010 (185 lbs)

and last week at 173

Back in 2007, I resolved to try again...and started tracking calories & grimly started lifting 10 lb dumbbells.. I wanted to change...so bad, and after trying a couple fads (*cough*Atkins*cough*...what a joke), I kept at it.
And slowly but surely, by tracking calories, holding myself accountable, and getting off the couch & into a workout routine...I started seeing real results. It took TONS of trial & error, peaks & valleys, and lots of picking myself up after falling on my *kitten*.
It can be done, people!
