Anyone else doing Liz Vaccariello's book plan that focuses on soothing and shrinking the belly?

    Hi:
One of the things I have learned in this journey is: You can not spot reduce. Your body will decide where it will lose fat first. Unfortunately. :(
Another one is: Abs are made in the kitchen. I have to lose body weight in order to see my abs.
I do weight lifting though, so I can keep my muscle in the meantime.
Good luck in your healthy journey

I'm going to guess the diet is going to eliminate everything that most people have food sensitivities too (wheat, dairy) and potentially cause bloating (processed foods, beans). You may notice that you bloat less and feel more regular, but it's not going to reduce your belly fat.

i was so tinny for 20 years of age 5 ft 90 lbs. until i give birth to my first baby at 21 years of age.i loved having big but, legs, hips and boobs but i hated my belly i tried and tried so many times just working on my belly fat. i lose fat but only on my legs and boob nothing on my belly so now i am 34 years old. i was always eat healthy but since i focused on working out my belly and seen it was not going anywhere i give up every time.but now am working full body eat healthy now i see my belly shrinking slowly but its going and that makes me happy. good luck to you :)

Never heard of it but I looked it up. I don't like having to make all of the recipes of those kinds of diets. But looking at the food, it appears to be basic healthy food. I don't believe that certain food combinations help you lose weight. I do believe that eating as healthy as you can and having a calorie deficit is what works.
Good luck if you try it.
