T25 Workout Series "set it off" at Age 50

The day after my 50th birthday, I thought I’d treat myself to the T25 workout series – you know, just to tone up. Because in my mind, I thought I was this physically fit woman who was ready to conquer the world at age 50. The first two sessions of T25 were great. But the third day? OMGosh!! Areas of my body started to swell followed by tingling sensations in other parts.
A visit to the doctor confirmed the reality that I was not the “spring chicken” that I thought I was. In fact, I was overweight and borderline diabetic. Enter MyFitnessPlan to monitor my food intake, diet and exercise. For someone who’s never had to worry about food/nutrition/exercise, I find myself doing exactly that now for health reasons at 50. I am so grateful that my doctor recommended the MyFitnessPlan app. It serves as a daily resource for accountability as I press on to establish a more healthier lifestyle.
In 2 ½ weeks , I’ve lost 3 lbs and an inch around my waist. I have a few more to go, but am ready to embark on this NewCZNofLife (new season of life) with a healthier perspective on nutrition, exercise and diet. So VERY grateful that my doctor recommended MyFitnessPlan and ever so grateful for the T25 workout series that set off physical alarms in my body for me to start focusing on health and nutrition.
