Wish I had a crystal ball!

I'm VERY short and gained weight slowly over the course of many, many years (including two pregnancies). So I am realistic and understand weight loss may be slow. My target is only 1/2 lb loss per week. I've lost 20 lbs and am just a couple lbs away from pre-baby weight (and maybe 5 lbs away from the top end of the healthy BMI spectrum, though I know that isn't a perfect calculation).
But I still feel very heavy, specifically my stomach...it's still really big and I'm disappointed that 20 lbs hasn't don't much in that area. I guess I should have taken measurements before I lost weight...but at the time I wasn't on MFP and didn't know I was about to lose that much weight
Some clothes fit better, and my face looks slimmer. I wish I knew how much more weight I need to lose in order to have a much smaller stomach...I realize no one can likely give me that answer and I just need to keep going and stick to my small goals. Thank you for letting me vent!

I can sympathise.
I'm down 10 kg (22-23 lb) and I seem to be losing it from the top down. I noticed it around my face ... then my neck ...
But it hasn't reached my waist or hips yet.0 -

Thank you for responding! (and for the kg - lb translation, haha!). I measured my waist 2 weeks ago and I think I read 8 lbs loss could translate to 1 inch lost. So that's going to be a long time for me to even bothering measuring!

Oh, I wish the same thing. I have lost 55 pounds and it is just starting to come off my waist more now. I mean, obviously I've lost inches in my waist already but it has been slow compared to other areas. If you haven't already, start taking measurements now. I take them on the 1st of each month and then any day in between that I feel like it. But I always do a comparison on the first of the month. These are the measurements that I take:
Waist (at smallest point)
Belly (at navel)
Hips (widest point)
Wrist
Forearm (largest point)
Neck
Thigh (largest point)
Calf (largest point)
It is really interesting to see where you lose the inches (or fractions of inches) each month.0 -
Everyone loses it differently. I wanted my stomach to go first. Nope. It's my legs and arms. My friend lost her stomach first. Keep at it though and eventually you will see results all over.0

Best of luck on your journey!0
