Ever thought of making seed or nut milk?
It's super easy. It's better for you than animal milk and better for you than store bought seed and nut milks. You can use and kind of raw unsalted seed or nut. I did a combo. You soak the seeds and or nuts (about a cup to two cups) in water in a container with a lid. Make sure to leave room for the nuts and seeds to expand. Place them in the fridge for at least an hour. I like to soak them over night. Then rinse nuts and seeds add them to the blender, add pitted medjool dates for sweetness and blend with 4 to 6 cups of water. Then strain mixture (easiest with a mesh strainer or nut milk bag) into a pitcher. Healthy refreshing and delicious :-)
