Tracking inconsistency between app and online

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet and if so I apologize for doubling it up. I mostly track on my phone app but I'm not allowed to have my phone at work so I sometimes login online instead. I've noticed there are inconsistencies between the 2. For example my phone app says I have 44 calories left today while online says I have 2. I also noticed differences in macro info between the two even though both are showing the exact same food items. Has anyone else noticed this? Also any idea which one is more correct of the 2? Thanks!

Disable step counting in the app and they will match up. The app is including steps taken which makes up the difference.0
