Hi I am so happy that someone told me about this site, I have been researching for some help, I love this site because it records my daily food calories for each meal , activity, and how much water I drink.
 I need to lose 100 lbs and I have been overweight all my life, and I have tried everything, I have lost and reached my goal and gained it back, my dieting started at age 14 when I was introduced to diet pills yes I loss the weight but never learned anything about eating healthy, today I am aware of much more and my main goal is to lose the weight, get fit and live a better life, I do not want to hear that I am morbid obese.

I am also looking for support it could be male or female, I am a very open, friendly, love to laugh, and talk to people, I like to share my vision and dreams.

I am right there with you...or at least I was. I began my lifestyle change on February 11th at 270 and have a goal of losing down to 170. I will probably drop that once I get to it, but I felt like a rounded off 100 pound goal was good to start with. I too have been overweight my entire life but I only went on a diet two other times in my life...once to prove to my boyfriend at the time that it could be done if I set my mind to it, and the second time as an attempt to find a way to reach women in my community through our tiny church. Both times I was successful but because I was doing it the wrong way, I didn't get healthy, nor did I conquer the things that drove me to eat in the first place. Now I am doing it to try and ensure I don't have to go through round 3 of cancer...and I have been very blessed with success. I am now at 238 and it's continuing to come off slowly. I am on the Nutrisystem plan but any plan that you are practicing portion control and learning to eat more healthy, non-starchy veggies will work. You are right....MFP is a GREAT site for keeping track of what you are eating. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Hi. I also have 100+ pounds to lose. I would love to encourage and be encouraged through this journey of weight loss. Friend me if you would like. I am new to MFP -- 1 week using the community and other tools. However I have used the food tracker longer.

I love to be able to track my food, water and workouts on one app. I am 212 and working to cut the weight down to 170 to 180. My body feels much better when I'm under the 200 pound mark, but it is getting to that point and staying under the mark is the battle. ADD me to your weight loss journey.
