Kroger Brand Precooked Bacon

I bought some because it was on sale and now I am regretting it. The slices are beyond paper thin. It says a serving is 3 pieces or 15g. I put one piece on the scale and got the princely sum of 2g...barely. Each piece should be 5g or more than double the actual amount. I'm annoyed because I feel pretty ripped off. The number of pieces in the box is what the box says should be in there, but the weight is way off.

Weighing goes both ways, I guess.

Yeah that bacon is terrible. All pre-cooked bacon is IMO. It's best to just fry/bake/however you like it all at once and stick in the fridge and microwave a few slices when needed. That's what I do.

Kirkland or Oscar Meyer isn't that bad. I mainly use it for lunch wraps or chopped salads. I don't like dealing with bacon grease and I need to make things quick, so willing to drop sacrifice a bit of quality for convenience, but that was just ridiculous.
