Looking to lose 30lbs

Hi. My name is Brandon. My goal is losing 30 lbs in the next few months and then gaining about 15lbs of muscle. Any suggestions or ideas on workouts and diet?

If you are completely new to strength training, I would probably start with Starting Strength 3 times/week for at least 3 months to build a good foundation and then move to a split.0

Having very strong motive, a reialistic goal, is a majer factor to win.
Make sure all your food are healthy, alwayse try to feed your body what it need from minirals and vitamins.
Whenever you are hungry try to eat just to fill your hunger. Otherwise i suppose you will have hardtime.
You might need to do some research about the healthy foods.
And remember, the longer term is your diet the high chance your diet will succeed.
