Quick question for all of you people. I've been eating bananas as a good quick snack. My question is which one of the many entries is the most accurate. I'm eating the regular dole bananas from Walmart. Not huge and not tiny ones. The entry ive used most Iis for 90 calories. Is this right

Weigh the banana without the peel and enter the weight in grams is the most accurate.0

Are you weighing it? 90 cal is for a 100g banana. Most of the bananas I've eaten have weighed between 80 and 115g (without peel)0

Totally depends on the weight of your banana. Go for the entry that doesn't have a * and use the drop down box to pick the weight unit of your choice. Don't use "small/medium/large" because your small could be someone elses large.0

need to weigh it without the skin0

The non-asterisked entry for "Bananas - Raw" is missing once again. This is becoming a biweekly issue.

Thanks for letting us know this is happening again. I get this is intermittent so apologies for this question, but are you seeing bananas today? I was just looking and the correct entry I believe when searching DB or adding food. I wanted to see if I had the right example and out of curiosity if it was back for you as well today? Thanks for the help!

It would be nice if there were a checkbox to filter primary database entries vs. member created entries. Unfortunately a lot of generic foods get crowded out by the number of entries that a members added for a 1 time meal. Assuming the asterisk is tied to a flag in the database (and not just added to the name string at the time it's created), a filter would be very easy to implement.0

Thanks @Olivia
The non-asterisked entry has been restored as of now. See the screen shot below.
