Hi everyone!
My hubby got me a scale last week. It is a Taylor scale from walmart. It measures him very accurately. Me on the other hand. UGH! It weighs me at 232 pounds every single time. I don't know my exact weight but I am 110% sure i am over 300 pounds. I have tried battery adjustments, different places and floor types and still, same result. It's goign back to the store. So, I am wondering if anyone knows of a scale that is accurate for people over 300 pounds? With at least a 400 pound weight limit? Thanks so much everyone!

Here are four that I pulled from Amazon -
Eatsmart Precision Plus Digital Bathroom Scale with Ultra Wide Platform and Step-on Technology, 440-Pounds
EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale w/ Extra Large Lighted Display, 400 lb. Capacity
Ozeri Precision Digital Bath Scale (400 Lbs Edition)
Etekcity® High Precision (0.2lb) 400lb /180kg Digital Bathroom Scale
I have not used any of these, but they were some of the highest rated for 400+ pound scales.
When I originally was looking for the "overweight" scales a few years ago, there weren't many of them and they were all over-priced. Tbh, I don't know if I would trust a scale to go over 300 lbs at home. Especially since my doctor's office scales couldn't get an accurate weight of me when I was over 300 lbs.
There was only one scale that I had found that was able to weigh me in accurately when I was over 300 lbs, and that was the scale my bariatric surgeon had. I don't think that would be fiscally feasible...nor would it fit in your bathroom.0 -
Thanks so much Cronniss, but I am looking for something someone has used themselves and KNOWS it works for people my weight and above. I spent an hour searching Amazon myself, that still didn;t tell me what I was looking to know0

I have a Homedics digital scale like this one...

It is usually within a couple of pounds of what my doctors scale reads.0 -
I bought the

from Amazon for $30 a month and a half ago. I weighed 315 when I purchased it and it has been a fantastic scale so far. Gives very quick readings.0 -

I just bought a new scale on Amazon it is called Tanita

It is great! It tells you everything. This model is not Bluetooth to sync with your phone, but some other models do.0 -
This is the one I purchased and has been excellent and pretty accurate so far, I have had it for over a year.

When I first bought it I weighed in at 330 lbs, now I am at 298 according to my doctor. Also keep in mind if you weigh yourself in the morning before you eat or drink anything, then shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, drink beverages, and go to the doctor, the scale may show a different number higher than what you read at home.0 -
i brought a taylor scale from walmart as well 30$(electronic) which i will be trashing soon because thats where it belongs it weighs me very in accurately. i prefer the manual scale its always right on far as my weight concerns.
the electronic scale one i have is all black and it always say i weigh 127.6-133.1 it has said this for like a half a year mind u haha .. iam 115 lbs and a pretty light weight , it weighs me wrong.
on the other hand my manual scale is always correct even when my doctor weighed me. my home manual scale had the same readings as the clinic it'self0 -

I would start using the fitness pal, go to your doctor get weighed once and then forget about the scale for a while. Work out eat under your calorie limit for the day and wait until your scale can read your weight. Use it to motivate you! I know that you can do it and I am here for you! I was over 300 pounds and in 35 days I have lost 25 pounds by watching my calorie intake and just walking! We can do this together so add me and we can keep each other accountable!0
