I've been doing insanity for a week now. I started at 138lbs and decided to peek at the scale today......and I was up to 140 lbs. :-(
Along with insanity, I'm walking about a mile in the evening and watching my calories ( eating healthier too)
GW: 115 lbs

It's not uncommon to see no change or a slight increase on the scale when you start or increase an exercise routine. Insanity is an intense workout. Your body is flooding those sore muscles with water to help them heal, masking any fat loss that's happening. It's going to take the scale some time to catch up.0

It's just water retention from the exercising, don't worry it will come off just give it time.0

Thank you for that explanation, I am trying so hard and my loss has slowed down and is trying to creep back up.
I had a fall down the stairs and I have been unable to exercise but I was still losing the weight, now I am back on the treadmill
the weight has slowed right down, and my spirits with it. I will just keep going and refuse to be beaten. Thank you again for the explanation the spirit is now lifting.0
