if you have an activity tracker, do you log your non-step based exercises on mfp or with the other account? i have a fitbit and have been logging my zumba with fitbit, but it doesnt show up in my feed like my friends' exercise. is this because they log here? is there a benefit to logging exercise on mfp?

I have my Fitbit and MFP linked so yes when I log here it shows up on my news feed and my activity also automatically also get added to my Fitbit app. When I log my activity to my Fitbit app it doesnt not show on my news feed here. So the only difference in logging here on MFP or on Fitbit is the activity showing up on your news feed and of course getting the likes or comments from your friends. :)

I only log non step based workout (lifting) into the Jawbone UP app. I don't log anything into MFP.
I earn calories back in MPF based on steps only. But they decrease as the day goes by since I work out in the Am and sit at work.

If I am logging my exercises that do count steps like walking and zumba, then am I adding calories burned that didnt actually get burned? I log from runkeeper and it passes the information to mfp.
