Blast away people...I like them!

I don't care if i get blasted for saying it, but Healthy Choice Steamers ROCK!!! They are my saving grace for a meal to take to work so i'm not eating out. I don't ever seem to have enough time to get myself ready, my kiddo ready AND make a good meal. Now i can just grab one of these, some fruit and my yogurt and i'm set! All prepackaged, all ready for my busy morning plus i know exactly how many calories i'm eating for lunch in it! Okay now Blast away on me for my Frozen lunch meals! Any one else have one that they really like that people will turn their noses to?

I like the Healthy Choice meals and the Smart Ones. Since I started watching my sodium though, had to give them up. I take an extra 5 minutes in the morning and fix a salad instead. No judgement here!

Nothing wrong with 'em, other than higher in sodium than I'd prefer, but then I'm not big on salty flavors.

Sounds like you are doing what works for you :)

I had two pieced of baked fish for breakfast. Each to his own when it comes to eating!

I eat those from time to time. The chicken makes me gag, to be honest. It shouldn't be that... squishy. The sandwiches though... Those are good.

I'm all over those paninis....nom nom nom....which just reminded me, I should pick some more of those up. High sodium but if it works, it works.

No blasting from me, I think most of them are pretty good, and the convenience of them, well that's just a bonus! :flowerforyou:

You can make a salad in 5 minutes?! It takes me that long just to get all my stuff together to start chopping!

I used to buy the Healthy Choice steamers all the time, but usually now I just pack leftovers. I put them in containers while I'm cleaning up from dinner, then I can just grab from the fridge in the morning. However... if we have a meal with no leftovers, there's no telling what I will do for lunch the next day! I should probably keep some Healthy Choice meals in the freezer just in case...

I too want to know how you make a salad in 5 min. I have one with dinner most nights and it take me alot longer than that! LOL.

I've gotten pretty good at making only whats going to get eaten in one night, or i make an extra portion for me for the next night when i'm doing fish(hubs doesn't eat that). Hubby won't touch left overs and i got tired of them going bad!

It's all about the knife work. Get a good sharp chef's knife and chop chop chop. Done.

If I need a quick fix of Asian food that doesn't kill my calorie count, I reach for the General Tso's version. /endcommercial

But seriously, they are tasty. I don't eat them regularly for previously stated reasons in this thread (sodium), but one-and-a-while is great.
