I've been on fire twice. Third time's a charm, right?

@wizzybeth Very odd. It was nice though...was able to have both of my moms walk me down the aisle last October at my wedding. (My adoptive father died 11 years ago). <3 to you.

That is precious. What a blessing to have!

My adoptive parents are both gone, as is my oldest brother. It's my brother and me, and our two cousins who recently found us in the past two years. The 4 of us represent all that's left of my biological family, and I represent pretty much all that's left of my adoptive family - I'm not counting the adoptive cousins who don't really have much to do with me beyond a Christmas card or occasional email.

@MissusSpags I am adopted as well. I always knew my brothers; my mother died when I was a toddler and our father took off. I was adopted by a nearby couple while my brother was raised by our grandfather and our oldest brother (half brother) went to live with his father.

It is very odd being in two very distinctive groups, isn't it?

    I'm adopted too!!!

    <3 Hello fellow adoptee!

I'm 35, Irish and living in Nigeria. I hate the heat but love the sun. I know Tuface personally, he's from my husband hometown, I am a successful business owner and I hate mosquitoes and cockroaches. My favourite way to get rid of them is my slippers :)

I am 1/2 Irish, 1/2 Swedish. My grandparents moved to the US from Sweden in the 1930s I believe.

I caught on fire once....in church!!

I was an altar boy and a gust of wind blew the flame on the candle and it got my robe. Granted I've just blamed it on the Friday the 13th/evil thing...

I once scanned a Kosher food item with my smart phone MFP app and the display told me that the food item was ham.

I was given an award and teddy bear as a child, from the police department for helping to catch a serial rapist.

WOW. I hop it wasn't because you could testify about 1st hand knowledge of his actions.

Oh so picture this: A 15 year old young woman sees the most gorgeous guy walking her way. She is so taken by his absolutely gorgeous face and blonde hair she walks into a parked car. The guy stops, asked her if she was ok and gave her him phone number. Trouble was he lived far away from her.
Yep that happened to me and it was so embarrassing.

Starting the day I went away to college, I received a postcard from my father every day for over 30 years, except on the days he was with me in person. (That was about 7 days per year.)

True Story: My eye colour changes. Most of the time they are green, but they can change to blue-green, green-brown, mixture of blue green n brown. Even sometimes grey-brown. I believe it's from whatever colour of clothing I'm wearing or the colours around me. It really creeps people out.

I sometimes have dreams that feel totally real! Like day to day real. Then after some time passes...days, months...my dream comes true. I dreamt what was going to happen...so crazy!

My eyes do not work together. I see mostly with right eye though vision switches with motion, position of my head. Really comes into play at eye doctor, when I'm ina machine and told focus on dot with both eyes. I just can't. If I was staring at you, you'd right eye slightly off center.

I once got paced by a police car doing 115mph on Baltimore-Washington Parkway while driving a 97 Ford Escort. The cops stepped on the gas and took the next exit. They never pulled me over.
