Hi
I was sent an email from someone who lost a stone and half just by eating raw friut and veg for 30 days.
I tried it and in 3 days I lost 9lb, I then had people come and stay who kept eatting my fruit and veg so I was unable to keep up with my raw plan the way I had planned it. I was not getting the results so I stopped my eatting plan.
I am now ready to start back...but was wondering if you've done the plan and can offer me any advice?
Also did you stick with you daily calories or double?
Thank you for your help advice and support.

You probably won't get much help with this one....generally people on here are not fans of fad diets that eliminate the most important food groups.0

My advice would be to eat a wider variety of food so that you can get the fats and protein that your body needs. Fruit and veg are good for you, but they don't give you all the nutrients you need.
It is extremely unlikely that you lost 9 lbs of fat in three days; a good portion of that weight will have been food/waste/water due to a sudden increase in fibre intake, along with some other lean mass (eg muscle) and fat. A stone and a half in 30 days is really not healthy unless you are very obese, and even then it's a lot. Your friend, or whoever sent you the email, will not have lost a stone and a half of pure fat in that time. Even given the fact you have 60 ish lbs to lose, it is really not a realistic, healthy or sustainable rate of loss. In a nutshell, it's a fad diet and you'd be much better off in the long run with a moderate calorie deficit and a balanced diet.0 -

Don't listen to those people. The best thing you can do is focus your diet on raw fruits and vegetables. I don't eat exclusively raw, but try to eat more raw when I can. There is a group here that can help you:

I'm sure there are some completely raw foodies on there. Check it out!0 -
