I'm from Rhode Island, I am a Captain in the US Merchant Marine working along the east coast. I used to weigh 265 and the USCG started watching our BMI. Had to learn to put the fork down and change it up. I currently dropped 40 lbs and want to get to 215.

    Hello! Thanks for your service and congrats on your weight loss. I am from New York, but live in Southwest Idaho. I was in the Navy for 8 years and now I am going to be starting my last year of college in the Fall working toward a Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Sciences. I don't currently work other than a teaching assistant job. Hope to eventually apply to a Physician Assistant program to get my Masters. I am also a wife, mother of a 3 year old, and sort-of homesteader [chickens, ducks, and a garden]!
