Feeling Flabby and Confidence

Hey guys!
Just driving across country (and feeling quite proud because I have been making healthy choices and not snacking) but I just feel flabby.
I'm heading back to Vegas, where I am around toned girls and "perfect" bodies all around me, and even sitting where I am, 20 pounds less than last year, I still am having a hard time with keeping confidence. I do a lot of toning and strength training exercises, evened out with cardio about four times a week. I am sitting at about 155 and I'm 5'10, so I'm at a healthy weight, but just not thin or toned enough. Especially around all these toned women.
I see very small improvements, but I haven't been able to tone the way I would like. Anyone else struggling with feeling flabby around summer?

Toning is not a thing. Muscles have tone but you cannot change the tone of your muscle, you can make them bigger by eating at a surplus and lifting/strength training heavy, while gaining fat as well. Or you can lose fat to reveal the muscle you have, and lift to maintain your LBM. Recomp is also an option but it is slow going (I'm trying it)-eat at maintenance, lift heavy, hit macros-hope that you gain a little muscle and lose a little fat.0

Maybe I went to a different vegas, but it definitely wasn't full of thin, toned women.
You can do all the weight training and cardio in the world, but unless you're losing fat, you won't look toned.
Don't be so hard on yourself - comparing yourself to anyone but yourself is just cause for angst and stress. You don't know anything about their life or journey to look the way they do. Compare yourself to the old you....a 20lbs loss is significant!0 -
Thank you arditarose, I'll make sure and keep that in mind.
Livingleanlivingclean I should rephrase that to the woman I am friends with back home are very lean and toned, haha, but you are right, I am trying to remain positive and proud of how far I have come, sometimes it is just hard.
