Them big leg Problems

You know how people always brag about their favorite jeans they have owned forever. Broken in fits them perfect. Little rips in the leg, so perfect expensive cloths store sell fake weathered ones to mimic the look. Yeah I don't have those jeans never have probably never will. Because I have large legs. Whether I'm fit or out of shape my thighs are big. Heck if I get out of shape that usually means my thighs are both fat and muscular. So my pants alway rub together and more sooner than later my underpants will be showing through a nice hole in the inner thigh. There is nothing more embarrassing than catering your daughters choir performance and bending over to get food to serve someone to find that your pants in the crouch are finished and they parting like the Red Sea. That might seem like the TMI portion of the post, but I warn if that was too much than stop reading now. I'm about to ask a question some of us want answered but are afraid to ask. I on the other hand have no modesty. Pertaining to the issue of the legs rubbing together I have a problem when I start to work out on a regular basis. Mind you I keep myself clean and shower after the gym. Does anyone male of female get blisters on the inner thigh if they use the elliptical machine daily. The whole inner thigh since I was a runner in track in middle school would get these if I ran a lot. I have known no way to prevent them other than resting the running for awhile. I can't be the only one. It's not simply a keep it clean down there issue because I shower more than I probably need to(it helps my seasonal allergies) These happen exactly where my legs rub together. And since when fit my thighs become tight bus shaped mammoths this problem doesn't resolve itself.

Have you tried corn starch or baby powder? Another problem might be the sweat causing the blisters, so if powders don't work, maybe try antiperspirant deodorant? (btw, I'm a nurse and so it takes a LOT to be TMI, lol!)0

I use Under Armour work out compression underwear/shorts. They make them up to 9 inches in length so they will easily cover your thighs, are stretchy, comfortable and have the moisture/sweat wicking properties. They are pricey though I am sure you can find sales or other, lesser known brands that could do the same thing.0

There is actually a product that runners use that prevents chafing. It goes on like a deoderant stick. My husband uses it. He gets it from a shoe store that specializes in runner supplies.0

I use good old fashioned petroleum jelly when I run0

I commend you for just "putting it out there". TMI is ok, I am old enough to take most things especially when they come with an appoligy for being too TMI..
I second the compression pants or shape wear..
Some these will make you sweat when wearing them, they are usually made out of something like Lycra and Spandex Do not wear these for long periods of time though.. you don't want the circulation to be cut off.. But you could get through a work out.

Another vote for compression tights (long or short)... They'll definitely help, but please, please, please wear shorts over the top.0

I find Body Glide under compression shorts to be effective. It doesn't dust off easily like talcum powder or feel greasy and stain like vaseline. It will likely last you through your exercise session without needing to re-apply. I have large legs as well, and since it can get quite humid here and I sweat a lot, powder tends to turn into clumps and I tend to swear vaseline off while an anti chafing cream usually stays put and you sweat through it rather than "into it". Try body glide or something similar and see how you like it.0

Look up chub rub thread on here! I had it so bad once my thighs blistered and bled. I wear shorts under skirts on the rare occasion I wear a dress! My jeans wear out in that area too, it is embarrassing.
I use lanacane cream for chafing which is ok but needs topping up a lot. I'm going to try the runners one0 -
