Barcode scanning?

i don't know about anyone else, but I'm a fan of doing exercise DVDs. Jillian Michael's is my guilty pleasure when I'm looking for a break from my usual gym routine, or if I'm injured & trying to stay fit thru the healing process.
Why can't MFP add a scanning feature for all the popular DVDs so it's easier to track? I don't feel as rewarded for doing exercise I can't log--it's as if I didn't even do the exercise.

because people put different amounts of effort into each one and the number of calories burned would vary wildly.
How about grabbing yourself a cheap bluetooth heart rate monitor and hooking it up to an app on your smartphone? The app would then sync your (supposed) calories burned with MFP automatically. Just keep in mind that burns are often overestimated.0
