I love cooking with the crock-pot because the food is done when I get home. I only have about 2 things I fix in it though besides soup and it is roast, taters and carrots and chicken breast flavored. Anyone have any other ideas that I could try? I have two 6 quart crock-pot and a casserole crock-pot. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have an awesome cookbook called "Not Your Mothers Slow Cooker Cookbook" by Beth Hensperger. She uses real ingredients (no cream of mushroom) and has recipes for everything you can imagine. Yes, lots of soups, stews and chilis, but also a ton of flavorful recipes like meatloaf, meatballs, chicken, curry, sloppy joes, pork chops, stuffed peppers, oatmeal, beans, enchiladas, ribs, pastas, jambalaya, desserts. You should see if they have a copy at your library you can check out or Amazon has some really cheap used ones.

The slow cooker book mentioned above is a winner IMO. You can try to borrow it from the library if you don't want to invest in it right away but still want to try the recipes.

Chicken breasts with the bone... Lemon, Rosemary, salt & pepper on high for 4 hours. Why so good!?!??!? So simple
