I have used both. I like the UP Jawbone better because I am interested in monitoring my sleep patterns regularly. The fitbit that I had didn't allow me to see as much information about my sleep as the jawbone does. I like to see how long it took me to go to sleep, how much sleep was sound sleep and how much was light sleep. I just find that stuff fascinating. I also like the appearance of the jawbone better than the fitbit. The fitbit had a more plastic feel to it and I didn't like that as much. After I had worn it for several months some of the plastic seemed to be peeling off. I also like the UP app better than the fitbit app. Just my experiences.0

maneapple, what did you like about the Jawbone app? I have a fitbit one, and feel it is ok ..like you I don't think it is accurate with sleep...was going to upgrade to the charge hr, but I see negative reviews about that one as well...0

If the One is something you are considering, here is a quick review of it by an MFP member:

I have both. Fitbit customer service is way better than Jawbone's.0 -
I have a Fitbit flex and love it because I can wear it in water. The Up3 is the only Jawbone that is water resistant.
One of the trainers at the gym had an Up. Hers broke four times within 6 months. They kept replacing it but when it broke for the fourth time she gave up and ordered a Flex.0
