walking bleachers...whats the calorie burn?

In addition to my regular workout I walked the bleachers (fast!) at the high school for about 20 minutes today. I'm trying to estimate a calorie burn but have no idea where to start. Does anyone have any input? It was definitely more strenuous than a fast walk or a slow jog, but I think that may be the strength element, not the cardio.

Since doing bleachers is basically a stair climbing exercise you can probably be safe in using the "Stair-treadmill ergometer, general" in the MFP exercise database, filling in the time and it will give you an estimate of calories burned.
Hope that helps. Good Luck.0 -

If you go into Exercises, there is "Walking, Upstairs." I use that for when I do the bleachers. You burn A LOT of calories doing that. I wear a Polar heart rate monitor when I do it, and I usually burn more than MFP gives me.0
