I am a almost 40 year old father of four and am looking to move 24 pounds. I am currently at 213 which is a good starting weight for me as I have been a lot heavier than that in the past. I am fortunate in a couple of ways in that I don't drink alcohol so no hidden calories there and I generally do a lot of running.

I guess the key is to use those calories that I burn running to convert into weight loss but I just get so hungry for days after a long run, and a long run for me is 35-40 miles!! I run quite a few marathons and always find that during training I tend to put weight on, not muscle, fat as my body is constantly telling me to eat.

I have four wonderful young children, a lovely wife and a pretty demanding job so my life is pretty full. Eating rubbish at my desk is a problem and eating last thing at night can also be a big problem as once I start I am in full on binge mode.

I have been impressed with the mini goals that I have seen so far and would like to do the same, so here goes.

Well, you've already got the exercise bit down don't ya!?! Good for you!!

It seems like all you are going to need is a few tweeks here and there and you'll be at your goal in no time! My guess is just the act of logging in your calories will be enough to get you there. :)
